Get to know one the widest active volcanic craters with almost 1 mile in width, the Poas volcano.

Located just around 20 miles in a straight line from down town San Jose and at an altitude of around 8900 feet, you will be able to see the main crater and the Botos lagoon from a bird’s eye perspective. On the way up the mountain range you will fly over many coffee plantations that take advantage of the fertile ground.

Arenal Volcano and Hot Springs

Early morning approx. 45 minute flight to La Fortuna and scenic aerial tour around the Arenal Volcano. You will land at the Hot Springs where you will be able to enjoy the facilities such as the naturally volcano heated hot pools with different temperatures surrounded by lush vegetation and with a spectacular view of the Arenal volcano. After a delicious lunch you will enjoy the flight back to San Jose.
