Know Costa Rica from the sky
On the way to the volcanoes, a sightseeing tour is included around San Jose City and its main attractions:
The Congress, National Museum, Parque Morazan, National Theatre, Central Park and Cathedral, La Sabana Park, The Brand-New National Stadium, and other highlights of the Capital City.
If you want to see the most important beaches of the pacific coast in Costa Rica, but you don’t have much time, this 1 hour twin engine scenic flight is for you.
See the magnificent beaches of Costa Rica from above as your luxury aircraft sweeps along one of Costa Ricans most scenic stretches of coastline, over Manuel Antonio, Quepos, and Bahia Ballena. If you are lucky you may even spot dolphins and whales
Fly from San Jose to the central pacific coast and the Carara national park.
Then zoom along the Tarcoles River where you can see one of the oldest reptiles still roaming the earth, Crocodiles.
On route you will also be able to see the spectacular Bijagual waterfall.
Get to know one the widest active volcanic craters with almost 1 mile in width, the Poas volcano.
Located just around 20 miles in a straight line from down town San Jose and at an altitude of around 8900 feet, you will be able to see the main crater and the Botos lagoon from a bird’s eye perspective. On the way up the mountain range you will fly over many coffee plantations that take advantage of the fertile ground.
Early morning approx. 45 minute flight to La Fortuna and scenic aerial tour around the Arenal Volcano.
You will land at the Hot Springs where you will be able to enjoy the facilities such as the naturally volcano heated hot pools with different temperatures surrounded by lush vegetation and with a spectacular view of the Arenal volcano.
After a delicious lunch you will enjoy the flight back to San Jose.
